Howdy Howdy!!

                          I'm Tangie Kay, the proud sole owner and artist behind Kay Equine. I'm a southern belle at heart living in Wisconsin. I share my homestead with horses, dogs, chickens, ducks, geese, goats and my incredibly supportive fiancé, Christopher.

                  From as early as I can remember, I could always be found in the saddle, reins in hand. Alongside barrel-racing and the cowgirl life, I would often find myself dreaming of owning my own business from early years.

Being an adventurous girl with a passion to connect with horses, I grew up running my barrel horses, training my childhood gelding to drive and creating a new adventure each day that involved a horse with an attitude met with a spirit of my own.

            After graduating high school, my colt-starting career took off. During this time, I can recall a few specific moments where my gear failed me and I found myself in a bind. That was the point I started researching the differences of true quality leather. On a trainers budget, I began buying supplies here and there. Eventually, I had all the tools and supplies to make my own tack.

            I started by supplying my community before the demand began to take everything to a new level. I established Kay Equine in January 2020. I am now honored to say I work and live within the equine business full-time and I couldn't be happier for it.
